DEBRA L. GOETZ’ practice focuses on corporate law and local government law. She was previously associated in New York with the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton and with Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation.
Debra is licensed to practice in both Texas (2003) and New York (1989). She received her B.A. from the University of Chicago, with honors in political science, in 1985, and her J.D, magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1988, where she was an articles editor for the Cornell Law Review. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Texas, she is a member of the Hidalgo County Bar Association, the New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
She was born in New York and moved to Texas in 2002.
