Scott Clark has worked in civil litigation and civil appeals in South Texas for 30 years. He began his legal career as a Briefing Attorney at the 13th Court of Appeals, rising to the level of Deputy Chief Staff Attorney before leaving the Court to begin private practice with Adams & Graham, L.L.P. Scott worked at Adams & Graham, L.L.P. for 25 years before moving to Atlas, Hall & Rodriguez in June 2026.
Scott’s experience includes cases in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, construction litigation, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, product liability, insurance coverage, and will disputes. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cameron County Bar Association and has been co-chair of the Appellate Section of the Hidalgo County Bar Association for several years. He has spoken at Continuing Legal Education courses many times on topics related to civil litigation, appellate law, and insurance law.
Scott grew up in different parts of the Midwest and went to high school in the Houston area. He graduated from Austin College in 1991 and The University of Texas School of Law in 1996. He is married and has three adult children. He likes to go for a run before starting the work day and has completed several marathons, including the Boston Marathon.
