Susan Sullivan is an AV Martindale Hubbell Preeminent rated attorney and joined Atlas, Hall & Rodriguez, LLP in 2007.
Susan is a trial lawyer and has tried cases throughout South Texas. Her current areas of practice include cases involving personal and catastrophic injury, employment law, complex commercial ligation, transportation/trucking, workers compensation, and premise liability.
Susan graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas where she was a member of the National Order of the Barristers and the St. Mary’s Board of Advocates. After graduating from law school, she moved to the Rio Grande Valley and was a clerk for the Honorable Filemon B. Vela, United States District Judge, Southern District of Texas, Brownsville, Texas.
Susan has served in various leadership roles for the State Bar of Texas, including on the Administration of Rules of Civil Procedure Committee, the Texas Pattern Jury Charge: General negligence, Intentional and Personal Torts and Worker’s Compensation Committee and the Court Rules Committee. In 2016, she was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) where she has served as the Rio Grande Valley Chapter’s Vice President, President and National Representative.
Susan has served on the Board of Easterseals Rio Grande Valley and currently serves as President of the Board. As the mom of two Eagle Scouts, she is also active with the Boy Scouts of America.
